Kamla Bell has been serving in education and non-profit sector for over 8 years. Before creating this structured program in 2015, Ms. Bell worked for the reputable college preparatory day and boarding school in North Bethesda (Georgetown Prep). There she assumed responsibility as an ESL Teacher for international students. She has also served in DC public schools, where she launched and managed a successful literacy program for a local non-profit supporting over 100 students. She has personally assessed and placed hundreds of students in the appropriate curriculum aligned with the common core state standard (CCSS).
Kamla Bell is also the Founder/CEO of a local mentoring non-profit for young girls of color (ages 10-16). She is passionate about children and the ability to transform their lives through education and creativity.
